Bodega La Vina, Matanzas, Cuba
La Vina is the grocery store purchased by my family in 1959. The store was purchased by my grandfather (I020 Antonio Jose Viera Sosa) and was jointly run by my father (I003 Enrique Pedro Perez Gonzalez) and my uncle (I022 Jose Antonio Viera Aleman). Some family members still live in the house adjacent to the store. The store is located across from the central city park called "El Parque de La Libertad".

I022 Jose Antonio Viera Aleman - Recordando el Cafe Baquedano
This is a short video clip of (I022 Jose Antonio Viera Aleman) reciting a brief poem which was the jingle for a popular coffee brand sold in Matanzas and it was carried by La Bodega La Vina which Jose Antonio ran together with my father (I003 Enrique Pedro Perez Gonzalez).
The subject of the Baquedano coffee came about because I work at a company in Florida where a grandson of the Baquedano Coffee family works. I was commenting this to Jose Antonio one day and he immediately recited the jingle. (He had an amazing memory)
It is a small world that two men whose family did business in Matanzas work so closely at a company in Florida.
