This is a short clip of that news report where several of our family members are seen. In the video, the initial segment shows our family turning over the Roasting Pig. The men are my uncle (I024) Efrain Rodriguez on the left (with a cap) and on the right it's my father (I003) Enrique Pedro Perez Gonzalez. This of course is the area where the Rio Blanco Farm is located. This article is for the sake of trivia only and I don't believe it has any association with Rio Blanco itself. I never heard any family talk of mineral water. I do recall a small river near Rio Blanco with very clear water, so it does make the spring plausible. | ||

The store was purchased by my grandfather (I020 Antonio Jose Viera Sosa) and was jointly run by my father (I003 Enrique Pedro Perez Gonzalez) and my uncle (I022 Jose Antonio Viera Aleman). Some family members still live in the house adjacent to the store. The store is located across from the central city park called "El Parque de La Libertad". |

| 7 |  | Canta Sinsonte Canta This song was recorded in 2026 by an artist called "El Prodigio del Corrido". After finding him on YouTube and seeing the quality of his work and the themes he would sing about; many of them related to Cuba and the suffering of it's people. I contacted him to see if he would be interested in a poem I had written in 1999 about El Sinsonte and the suffering of the Cuban people. The poem was a dedication to a friend who was a very strong Cuban patriot and had in his day done things to push back on the communist government. "El Prodigio del Corrido" recorded the song adding his music, voice and arrangement. He also added a video to the song that is very complimentary to the theme of the song.
